Commercial Roofing Foreman

Job Responsibilities

 

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervisor to oversee construction projects and lead a 
team of skilled workers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent 
communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires 
hands-on experience in various trades, including commercial roofing, ensuring that projects are 
completed on time and to the highest standards.

 

Duties
• The skilled Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of roofing 
systems. Focusing on repairs and other jobs around Quality Control of our customers' roofs.
• Installation of different types of roofing systems such as EPDM, Single-ply and other forms of low slope roofing systems
• Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.)
• Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates 
safe work practices
• Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
• Communicate with project managers regarding project progress, challenges, and timelines.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure adherence to specifications.

 

Experience
• Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction methods.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams effectively.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
