Job Title: Paralegal Contract Administrator

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Salary: DOE 

Job Summary of the Paralegal Contract Administrator:. The Paralegal Contract Administrator is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and documents, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies, and providing administrative support for the contract lifecycle.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Paralegal Contract Administrator:

·         Contract Drafting and Review: Drafting and reviewing contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure they are clear, compliant, and aligned with company policies.

·         Contract Negotiation: Assist with contract negotiations to protect business interests, including negotiations with customers. 

·         Contract Management: .Manage contract lifecycle, including drafting, routing for signatures, organizing documentation, and addressing inquiries.

·         Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team, such as managing e-signatures, maintaining contract databases, and preparing reports. 

·         Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research and analyze information to support contract preparation and negotiation. 

·         Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to contracts. 

·         Communication: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and attorneys, to facilitate contract processes.  

Education & Experience of the Paralegal Contract Administrator:

·         HS Diploma or G.E.D. Required.  Any additional education is a plus.

·         Paralegal Certification desired, not required.

·         2+ years experience in the legal field or contracts management.

·         Experience with contract drafting, review including the contract lifecycle (negotiation, execution, monitoring and termination)

·         Strong computer skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe

·         Strong communication skills
