Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Technician with a strong background in BAS (Building Automation Systems) programming and commissioning. This is a hands-on role focused on system setup, integration, and start-up for commercial and industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate has experience with Honeywell or Tridium/Niagara systems and is comfortable managing field installations and system testing independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform controls setup, programming, and on-site start-up of BAS systems
Conduct operational checkouts, calibration, wiring, and testing
Perform complete point-to-point system checkout and commissioning
Collaborate on drawings and equipment schedules for operations & maintenance
Provide owner training on installed systems
Assist with graphics creation and interface setup
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience programming and commissioning BAS systems
4+ years of experience in the building automation industry
Proficient in system integration, controls logic, and field troubleshooting
Tridium/Niagara certification is a plus
Experience with Honeywell controls is a strong plus
Strong communication and documentation skills
