About the position
Job Description:
This privately-owned global manufacturer of additives (primarily Ag related). This person will be the plant manager in charge of a ~40-person additives manufacturing plant that operates 24/5 (trying to move to 24/4). This person will be responsible for compliance in the areas of safety, product quality and overall production and maintenance within the plant. This company also offers a specialized management course that they offer to their employees and this person would have the opportunity to participate in that as well. One of the intangible benefits of this particular facility is that it is located right next to this company's worldwide HQ where most of their top executives are based out of. Very visible role.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. degree ideal, may consider a non-degree candidate with requisite experience. 5+ years of overall manufacturing experience, ideally out of a process that involves powders handling, but realistically, this company will consider a strong leader out of just about any manufacturing background. The key for this role is really that leadership ability – they are looking for someone who has been in a production or operations management role and who is looking for that next step. Also - this company has been implementing automation and robotics at several of their facilities so someone coming in with any kind of process control (Allen Bradley) or robotics background would be an especially good fit with this role.
