ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

REGULATORY INVESTIGATIONS, STRATEGY + ENFORCEMENT (RISE) PRACTICE

Location: Atlanta, GA

A premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) Practice Group in Atlanta. This is an outstanding opportunity for a mid-level litigator or regulatory attorney to work on high-impact matters involving economic development, government investigations, and regulatory enforcement.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing, or eligibility to waive in.

  • 4–6 years of substantive experience in litigation, government investigations, and/or compliance work.

  • Prior experience with a government agency, such as an Attorney General’s office or executive branch, is highly preferred.

  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters and deliver strategic counsel.

  • Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment, both as a team player and when working autonomously. 

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional research, writing, analytical, communication, and oral advocacy skills are a must. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on state and federal regulatory investigations, administrative litigation, and compliance matters.

  • Represent clients in high-profile economic development matters within the state of Georgia.

  • Handle spinoff consumer class litigation and other regulatory-driven disputes.

  • Develop compliance strategies to mitigate enforcement risk and support internal investigations.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to provide comprehensive client solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Highly Competitive Salary:$275,000 – $350,000, commensurate with experience.
