Material Management Manager

Client:
Our client is a successful, growing, dynamic, new product development and manufacturing company that designs advanced technologies for mixing solutions supporting a broad range of industries and processing applications worldwide. They invent, develop, engineer manufacture, market and sell a suite of advanced processing technologies worldwide. 
Their unique mixing system is capable of mixing combinations of solids, liquids, and gases using high-intensity, low-frequency acoustic energy.
 
Job Scope:
Lead a team responsible for acquiring and managing the physical resources and services needed to support a growing manufacturing business. Responsibilities include sourcing equipment, goods and services and bringing those items to the production floor. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of existing vendors, as well as searching for reliable new suppliers with improved costing structure.
 
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration, or equivalent
  • Proven working experience as purchasing manager, agent or officer in an industrial equipment or industrial processing environment
  • Experience with sourcing and vendor management
  • Experience with ERP systems as a management tool
