Assistive Technology Professional (ATP)

Location: Texas (travel to metro office sites in Houston, Dallas, Beaumont and E. Texas) Can reside outside of Houston but must be in Texas.

Are you passionate about helping individuals with disabilities live more independently? We’re seeking an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to assess, recommend, and support adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, custom seating, gait trainers, and more.

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate clients’ needs and recommend the best assistive technology
  • Work closely with therapists and physicians to ensure appropriate medical justification and documentation
  • Educate clients on equipment use, safety, and care
  • Coordinate equipment orders, deliveries, fittings, and adjustments
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the process
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals and referral sources
  • Travel within your territory to provide in-person support

What We’re Looking For:

  • ATP Certification from RESNA or currently pursuing certification
  • 1–3 years of experience in complex rehab or durable medical equipment preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
