Our client, a prominent Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a highly motivated Technology Transactions Associate Attorney to join its cutting-edge IP Transactions Practice.  The ideal candidate would be based in the Boston Legal Market.  This opportunity focuses on supporting innovative companies in the life sciences and broader technology sectors as they navigate complex commercial, licensing, and intellectual property matters.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

• Active Bar Admission inapplicable jurisdiction.

• 3–4 years of substantive experience in intellectual property transactions, preferably involving life sciences, technology, or AI.

• Background or demonstrated interest in life sciences, digital health, venture capital, AI, or related innovation-driven fields.

• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, with an ability to advise clients on strategic and technical IP issues.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proactive, client-focused approach.

• Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on the development and execution of intellectual property strategies across the life sciences and technology sectors.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including licensing, collaboration, clinical trial, material transfer, and university tech transfer agreements.

• Support IP aspects of corporate transactions, including venture financings, public offerings, and M&A deals.

• Conduct legal research and analyze diverse technologies such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, AI, fintech, digital health, AR/VR, cybersecurity, and renewable energy.

• Provide strategic counsel on corporate partnerships, product development, and commercialization.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional legal and business teams, as well as technical advisors and external stakeholders.

The firm offers highly-competitive compensation, with an expected annual salary range of $260,000-$310,000, commensurate with experience, discretionary performance-based bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package featuring health insurance, retirement plans, generous parental leave, wellness programs, paid time off, and additional perks.
