Director of Cybersecurity

Salary: $150,000/year | Compensation Range: $200,000+ per year | Full medical insurance, dental benefits, and more, EOO.

We’re hiring a strategic and experienced cybersecurity leader to strengthen and oversee our digital security programs. This role is essential in building enterprise-wide protection across systems, networks, and applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and embed security best practices into everything we build and operate.


🔍 Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the design and execution of security architecture across a dynamic tech environment.

  • Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.

  • Identify emerging threats and implement solutions to mitigate business risk.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate secure development practices (OWASP, SonarQube, Qualys).

  • Oversee IAM strategies, network protection, incident response, and system monitoring.

  • Manage security incidents and post-event analysis to improve resilience.

  • Drive role-based access controls and disaster recovery procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in cybersecurity or network defense, including architecture and risk management.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS preferred), IAM, and regulatory standards.

  • Experience leading SOC operations, security audits, and incident handling.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Proven ability to align security with business and technical priorities.

  • Master’s degree in cybersecurity or related field.

  • Required: CISSP

  • Bonus: CEH, CISA, CCSK, SANS/GIAC certifications
