Senior Mechanical Engineer – Heavy Industrial & Mining Equipment

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is a requirement
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial equipment manufacturing, particularly with exposure to mining environments is required
  • Pay is between $105,000 to $120,000 depending upon experience
  • This position enables the incumbent to get to know our industry and some minimal travel may be required
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • No remote as this is an onsite only position
  • Full-time Permanent W-2 employee
  • Full benefits
  • No relocation
  • Located in the Butler, Wisconsin Area

 

This full time, permanent career opportunity is for a Senior Mechanical Engineer at a niche, custom machine manufacturer. Employees are never bored as there is a lot of variety in the products manufactured, work is not repetitive and machines are all custom. The company products make a real impact for their clients. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

  • Background in Electrical, Hydraulics, and Metallurgy
  • Strong background in heavy equipment and mining industry applications
  • Must be a good communicator and have the ability to hire a team to expand the engineering department
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and oversee them from start to finish

 

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

  • This role offers the opportunity to learn about our industry, with minimal travel required
  • Skilled in Solid Works and a background of BOM’s, Test Fracture & Stress Points
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
