Job Description
- Assist in providing occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence in daily activities
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
- Follow and modify treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Document patient sessions and maintain accurate records
- Supervise therapy technicians and support staff
- Engage with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts
Qualifications
- Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Wyoming or ability to obtain
- Understanding of upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatments
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
