Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Townson, MD office.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the family law practice, including supervising attorneys and staff
  • Oversee case strategies from intake to resolution, focusing on complex divorce, custody, and support cases
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
  • Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and respond promptly to all client communications
  • Implement office policies, procedures, and financial management, including billing and collections
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss case progress and improve office performance

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing of the Maryland Bar
  • 8+ years of family law experience, including divorce, custody, and support
  • 2+ years in a managerial role, with experience leading a legal team
  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage a high caseload efficiently
  • Proficient in legal research and case management software
