Lead Floral Designer

About the position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Floral Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented florist who is ready to lead a small team and oversee floral designs across multiple store locations. The Lead Floral Designer will manage day-to-day floral operations, from creating stunning arrangements to sourcing high-quality products and managing pricing.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and retail sales.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of florists to maintain high design standards and efficiency.
  • Oversee floral inventory, source fresh flowers and supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Develop and update product offerings for our in-house website.
  • Set pricing structures for floral arrangements while ensuring profitability.
  • Take and fulfill incoming customer orders with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring workspace.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a florist or floral designer, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of floral design techniques, color theory, and seasonal trends.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality designs.
  • Experience with inventory management and vendor relations.
  • Comfortable with customer interactions and order management.
